Publication Ethics
Ephemeris Administrativa Commercialis (EAC) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, accountability, and ethical responsibility in scholarly publishing. The journal adheres to the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher to uphold these ethical standards throughout the submission, review, editorial, and publication processes.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original, authentic, and scientifically sound contributions to the fields of business administration and commercial studies. The journal accepts empirical research, conceptual papers, theoretical analyses, systematic literature reviews, case studies, comparative studies, applied business research, and interdisciplinary scholarship conducted and reported with honesty, transparency, and academic integrity. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, citation manipulation, redundant publication, and all forms of academic misconduct are strictly prohibited. Authors must accurately present their methods, findings, interpretations, and conclusions, provide appropriate acknowledgment of all sources, disclose any conflicts of interest, and ensure that manuscripts are not under consideration by another publication. Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research.
Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts fairly, independently, objectively, and in a timely manner based solely on scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, significance, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Editorial decisions shall not be influenced by the authors’ nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, ethnicity, religion, political views, or other personal characteristics. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts, manage conflicts of interest appropriately, address ethical concerns, and ensure compliance with established publication ethics standards.
Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, confidential, and timely assessments that assist editors in making publication decisions and help authors improve their work. Reviews should focus on originality, methodological rigor, analytical quality, scholarly relevance, clarity, ethical compliance, and the overall contribution of the manuscript to the advancement of knowledge in business administration and related disciplines. Reviewers must treat manuscripts as confidential documents, refrain from using unpublished information for personal benefit, disclose any conflicts of interest, and notify editors of suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other ethical concerns. Review invitations should be declined when reviewers are unable to provide an impartial or competent evaluation.
The publisher, in collaboration with the Editorial Board, supports editorial independence and is responsible for maintaining ethical publishing practices in accordance with COPE guidelines and internationally recognized publishing standards. The publisher safeguards the integrity of the peer-review process and ensures that editorial decisions remain free from commercial, institutional, political, or other external influences. Allegations of research or publication misconduct will be handled through fair, transparent, and evidence-based procedures. When necessary, corrective actions, including corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, or article withdrawal, will be implemented to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
Through these commitments, Ephemeris Administrativa Commercialis (EAC) promotes responsible scholarship, academic excellence, ethical research practices, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the advancement of knowledge that contributes to organizational effectiveness, managerial accountability, business innovation, and sustainable commercial development at local, national, regional, and global levels.
