Author Guidelines

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the Ephemeris Administrativa Commercialis (EAC) Online Journal System (OJS). Authors are required to register an account and follow the submission procedures provided on the journal website. Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal or publisher. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal template or author guidelines may be returned for revision prior to the peer-review process.

Manuscript Preparation

Authors must prepare manuscripts using the official EAC manuscript template and adhere to the following formatting requirements:

  • Paper size: A4 (210 × 297 mm)
  • Layout: Single column
  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
  • Line spacing: Single (1.0)
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Title: 16 pt, bold
  • Author names: 10 pt
  • Affiliations: 9 pt
  • Corresponding author email: 9 pt
  • Abstract: 9 pt
  • Keywords: 9 pt
  • Main text: 10 pt
  • Section headings: 10 pt, bold
  • Tables and figure captions: 9 pt
  • References: 10 pt
  • Maximum length: 20 pages, including tables, figures, appendices, and references

Authors are encouraged to use the journal template without altering the predefined styles and formatting.

Title, Author Information, Abstract, and Keywords

The title should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript. Titles should not exceed 15 words and should avoid abbreviations whenever possible.

Author names should be written without academic titles. Each author’s institutional affiliation, city, country, and email address must be provided. The corresponding author should be clearly identified. ORCID iD is strongly recommended.

The manuscript must include an English abstract of no more than 200 words. The abstract should briefly present the background, objectives, methodology, principal findings, and conclusion of the study. Citations, tables, figures, and unexplained abbreviations should not be included in the abstract.

Authors should provide three to five keywords arranged alphabetically and separated by semicolons.

Article Structure

Introduction

The Introduction should present the research background, problem statement, objectives, significance of the study, theoretical foundation, relevant previous studies, research gap, and novelty of the research. Authors should clearly explain the contribution of the study to business administration and commercial studies.

Methodology

The Methodology section should clearly describe the research design, data sources or participants, data collection procedures, analytical techniques, and ethical considerations where applicable. Sufficient detail should be provided to enable readers to understand and evaluate the research process.

Results and Discussion

This section should present the findings and provide a comprehensive discussion supported by relevant theories, empirical evidence, and previous studies. Authors are encouraged to highlight:

  • Originality of the findings
  • Scientific contribution
  • Practical implications
  • Theoretical implications
  • Recommendations for practice and future research

All tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and cited in the text.

Conclusion

The Conclusion should summarize the principal findings and emphasize the contribution of the study. Authors are encouraged to acknowledge research limitations and suggest directions for future research.

Acknowledgement (Optional)

Authors may acknowledge research funding, institutional support, technical assistance, or individuals who contributed significantly to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship.

Author Contribution Statement

All submissions must include an Author Contribution Statement outlining the specific contributions of each author, such as conceptualization, methodology, investigation, formal analysis, writing, review and editing, supervision, project administration, or funding acquisition.

AI Disclosure Statement

Authors who use artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted technologies, including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Grammarly, QuillBot, or similar tools during manuscript preparation must disclose their use within the manuscript.

AI tools may only be used to improve language quality, grammar, spelling, readability, or formatting. They must not replace the authors’ intellectual contributions in designing the study, conducting research, interpreting results, or drawing conclusions. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of their work.

References

References and in-text citations must follow APA Style (7th Edition). Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

The reference list should meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 25 references
  • At least 80% from peer-reviewed journal articles
  • Most references published within the last 10 years
  • DOI included whenever available
  • All cited sources must appear in the reference list and vice versa

Review Articles

Review articles should be organized into the following sections:

  • Introduction
  • Literature Review or Conceptual Framework
  • Critical Analysis and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References

Review manuscripts should provide a comprehensive and critical synthesis of current literature while identifying research gaps and future research directions.

Ethical Considerations

All manuscripts must comply with recognized standards of publication ethics. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work is original, free from plagiarism, and properly cites all sources. Fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and other forms of research misconduct are strictly prohibited.

Research involving human participants, organizational data, confidential business information, or proprietary datasets must have obtained appropriate ethical approval, institutional permission, and informed consent where applicable.

Submission Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that:

  • The manuscript follows the official EAC template.
  • The manuscript is original and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • The manuscript is written in clear academic English.
  • The title, abstract, and keywords comply with journal requirements.
  • The manuscript follows the prescribed article structure.
  • Tables and figures are properly numbered, captioned, and cited.
  • References comply with APA Style (7th Edition).
  • The reference list contains at least 25 references, with at least 80% from peer-reviewed journal articles.
  • DOI information is included whenever available.
  • An Author Contribution Statement is provided.
  • An AI Disclosure Statement is included when applicable.
  • The manuscript has been carefully proofread before submission.
