The increasing consumption of natural aggregates in concrete production encourages the utilization of alternative waste materials that can partially reduce dependence on conventional resources. This study investigates the effect of rice field snail shell powder as a partial substitute for fine aggregate on concrete workability, density, and compressive strength. A laboratory experimental method was conducted using five substitution levels of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, and 10%. The rice field snail shells were processed into powder passing the No. 100 sieve, and cylindrical concrete specimens with a diameter of 150 mm and a height of 300 mm were prepared and water-cured for 28 days. The average slump values were 165, 150, 137.5, 155, and 160 mm, respectively. The 28-day average compressive strengths were 28.26 MPa for the control concrete, 29.97 MPa at 2.5%, 22.33 MPa at 5%, 26.05 MPa at 7.5%, and 25.05 MPa at 10% substitution. The 2.5% mixture achieved the highest average compressive strength, while higher substitution levels did not consistently improve mechanical performance. The results indicate that rice field snail shell powder can partially replace fine aggregate, although its effectiveness depends on the substitution proportion and consistency of the concrete mixing process.
