Abstract

Camo Fashion is a manufacturing company producing camouflage-patterned apparel that relies on PE Polyester fabric as its primary raw material and currently collaborates with five suppliers. Supplier selection was previously based mainly on price and quality, resulting in several procurement problems, including delayed raw-material deliveries and inconsistencies in fabric specifications, particularly material weight. This study aimed to propose an appropriate PE Polyester supplier by integrating Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) and Analytical Network Process (ANP) within a multi-criteria decision-making framework. Empirical data were collected through interviews and pairwise-comparison questionnaires involving three respondents directly responsible for procurement and production activities. ISM and MICMAC analyses were applied to identify influential subcriteria and their structural relationships, while ANP was used to determine criterion and subcriterion priorities and rank five supplier alternatives. The results identified four key criteria: quality, price, warranty, and delivery, with quality receiving the highest priority weight of 0.487. Five key subcriteria were retained, with quality conformance to specifications ranking first at 0.178. Supplier E achieved the highest overall priority weight of 0.118, followed by Suppliers C, D, A, and B. Supplier E was recommended as the primary supplier because of its stronger performance in material quality, defect control, and delivery reliability, despite its relatively higher purchasing price.
