Publication Ethics
Ephemeris Magnifica Fortuna (EMF) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, accountability, and ethical responsibility in scholarly publishing. The journal follows the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher to uphold these principles throughout the submission, peer-review, editorial, and publication processes.
Authors are required to submit original, authentic, and scientifically sound manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of economics, accounting, finance, business, management, and related disciplines. All research must be conducted and reported honestly, accurately, and transparently. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, and other forms of academic misconduct are strictly prohibited. Authors must provide appropriate citations, disclose any conflicts of interest, ensure that all listed authors have made substantial contributions to the work, and confirm that the manuscript is not under consideration by another publication.
Editors are responsible for making fair, objective, independent, and timely editorial decisions based solely on the scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, significance, and relevance of submitted manuscripts. Editors shall maintain the confidentiality of all submissions, manage potential conflicts of interest, ensure compliance with publication ethics, and preserve the integrity of the editorial and peer-review process.
Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, confidential, and timely evaluations that assist editors in making publication decisions and help authors improve their manuscripts. Reviews should assess the originality, methodological quality, analytical rigor, clarity, ethical compliance, and academic contribution of the manuscript. Reviewers must treat all materials as confidential and immediately inform the editors of any suspected ethical concerns, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or conflicts of interest.
The publisher, in collaboration with the Editorial Board, supports editorial independence and is responsible for safeguarding the integrity of the publication process in accordance with COPE guidelines and internationally recognized publishing standards. The publisher ensures that editorial decisions remain free from commercial or external influence and addresses allegations of research or publication misconduct through fair, transparent, and evidence-based procedures. When necessary, corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, or article withdrawals will be issued to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.
Through these commitments, Ephemeris Magnifica Fortuna (EMF) promotes responsible scholarship, academic excellence, ethical research practices, and the advancement of knowledge that contributes to economic development, financial accountability, business innovation, and sustainable prosperity at national and global levels.
