Author Guidelines
Submission Procedure
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the Ephemeris Magnifica Fortuna (EMF) Online Journal System (OJS). Authors are required to register before submitting their manuscripts and follow all submission procedures available on the journal website. Submitted manuscripts must be original, have not been published previously, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts that do not conform to the journal template or these Author Guidelines may be returned to the authors for revision before entering the peer-review process.
Manuscript Format
Authors must prepare manuscripts using the official Ephemeris Magnifica Fortuna (EMF) template.
The manuscript should comply with the following formatting requirements:
• Paper size: A4 (210 × 297 mm)
• Layout: Single-column
• Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
• Line spacing: Single (1.0)
• Font: Times New Roman
• Title: 16 pt, bold
• Author names: 10 pt
• Affiliations: 9 pt
• Corresponding author's email: 9 pt
• Abstract: 9 pt
• Keywords: 9 pt
• Main text: 10 pt
• Section headings: 10 pt, bold
• Tables and figure captions: 9 pt
• References: 10 pt
• Maximum manuscript length: 20 pages, including tables, figures, appendices, and references.
Authors are encouraged to use the journal template without modifying the predefined styles and formatting.
Title, Abstract, and Keywords
Title
The title should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript. It should not exceed 15 words and should avoid abbreviations whenever possible.
Author Information
Author names should be written without academic titles. Each author's institutional affiliation, city, country, and email address must be provided. The corresponding author should be clearly identified. ORCID iD is strongly recommended.
Abstract
The manuscript must include an abstract in English with a maximum length of 200 words. The abstract should briefly describe:
• Background
• Research objectives
• Methodology
• Principal findings
• Conclusion
The abstract should not contain citations, tables, figures, or unexplained abbreviations.
Keywords
Provide three to five keywords arranged alphabetically and separated by semicolons.
Article Structure
- Introduction
The Introduction should present the research background, research problems, research objectives, significance of the study, theoretical framework, previous studies, research gap, and novelty. Authors should clearly explain how the study contributes to the advancement of economics, accounting, finance, business, and related interdisciplinary fields.
- Methodology
The Methodology section should clearly explain:
• Research approach (qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, econometric analysis, case study, survey, experimental, comparative research, or other appropriate approaches)
• Sources of research data or respondents
• Data collection techniques
• Data analysis methods
• Ethical considerations (if applicable)
The methodology should provide sufficient detail to allow the research to be understood and evaluated.
- Results and Discussion
This section should present the research findings followed by a comprehensive discussion. The discussion should critically analyze the findings using relevant economic theories, accounting standards, financial frameworks, business practices, empirical evidence, and previous scholarly works.
Authors are encouraged to demonstrate:
• Originality of the findings
• Scientific contribution
• Practical implications
• Theoretical implications
• Recommendations for economic policy, accounting practice, financial management, business development, corporate governance, or future research
Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and cited within the text.
- Conclusion
The Conclusion should summarize the principal findings without repeating the discussion. Authors should emphasize the contribution of the study, acknowledge any limitations, and provide recommendations for future research or professional practice.
- Acknowledgement (Optional)
Authors may acknowledge research funding, institutional support, technical assistance, or individuals who significantly contributed to the completion of the study but do not meet the criteria for authorship.
- Author Contribution Statement
All submissions must include an Author Contribution Statement describing the specific contribution of each author, such as conceptualization, methodology, investigation, formal analysis, writing, review and editing, supervision, project administration, or funding acquisition.
- AI Disclosure Statement
Authors who utilize artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted technologies, including but not limited to ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Grammarly, QuillBot, or similar tools during manuscript preparation must disclose their use.
AI technologies may only be used to improve language quality, grammar, spelling, readability, or formatting. AI tools must not replace the authors' intellectual contribution in developing ideas, conducting research, interpreting findings, or drawing conclusions.
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of the submitted manuscript.
References
References and citations must follow APA Style (7th Edition).
Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
The reference list should satisfy the following criteria:
• Minimum 25 references
• At least 80% should be journal articles
• Most references should be published within the last 10 years
• DOI should be included whenever available
• All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and vice versa
Review Articles
Review articles should be organized into the following sections:
• Introduction
• Literature Review or Conceptual Framework
• Critical Analysis and Discussion
• Conclusion
• References
Review manuscripts should provide a comprehensive, critical, and up-to-date synthesis of the existing literature while identifying research gaps and future directions in economics, accounting, finance, and business.
Ethical Considerations
All submitted manuscripts must comply with publication ethics. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work is original, free from plagiarism, and properly cites all sources used. Any form of fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, or unethical research practice is strictly prohibited.
When the research involves human participants, confidential financial information, organizational data, or proprietary business information, authors must confirm that appropriate ethical approval, institutional permission, and informed consent have been obtained where applicable.
Checklist Before Submission
Before submitting the manuscript, authors should ensure that:
• The manuscript follows the official Ephemeris Magnifica Fortuna (EMF) template.
• The manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
• The manuscript is written in clear academic English.
• The title, abstract, and keywords comply with the journal requirements.
• The manuscript follows the required article structure.
• Tables and figures are properly numbered, captioned, and cited.
• References follow APA Style (7th Edition).
• The reference list contains at least 25 references, with at least 80% from recent peer-reviewed journal articles.
• DOI information has been included whenever available.
• An Author Contribution Statement has been provided.
• An AI Disclosure Statement has been included, where applicable.
• The manuscript has been carefully proofread before submission.
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
