Peer Review Process
All authors submitting manuscripts to this journal are required to complete a Statement of Ethical Compliance, which is available for download on the journal’s official website. This statement serves as formal confirmation of the authors’ commitment to ethical standards, academic integrity, and responsible publication practices. Please note that this document is not a manuscript template; therefore, all submissions must strictly adhere to the journal’s Author Guidelines.
The editorial process begins with an initial screening conducted by the editorial team. At this stage, manuscripts are evaluated for completeness of submission, compliance with formatting requirements, plagiarism screening, and alignment with the journal’s focus and scope.
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening proceed to the peer-review stage. The journal implements a double-blind peer-review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure objectivity, impartiality, and confidentiality. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the social sciences.
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on the following criteria:
-
Originality, novelty, and scholarly contribution to the social sciences
-
Rigor and appropriateness of the theoretical framework, analytical approach, and research methodology
-
Clarity, coherence, and logical organization of the manuscript
-
Relevance to the aims, focus, and scope of the journal
Based on the reviewers’ evaluations and recommendations, the Editorial Board may issue one of the following decisions:
-
Accept
-
Accept with minor revisions
-
Major revisions required
-
Reject
Authors who are requested to revise their manuscripts will be given a specified timeframe to submit a revised version, accompanied by a detailed point-by-point response letter addressing each reviewer’s comments.
The editorial team is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and efficiency throughout the peer-review process. Authors may contact the editorial office at any stage to request updates or clarification regarding the status of their submission.
